The features like marinate mode, PulseVac, and the removable drip tray are the same for FoodSaver 5460 and the FoodSaver 5800. Also, they were both very convenient and easy to use with their built-in features.

While the FoodSaver 5800 had the option to rewind the roll and the indicator lights, we didn’t feel that this was enough to justify the approximately $160 difference in price. Not only that, but it comes with fewer vacuum bags. For this reason, today’s winner is the FoodSaver 5460.
