Similarities between Winegard Elite 7550 vs Clearstream 4 Max

Let’s see what these antennas have in common.

Maximum range

The Winegard Elite 7550 and Clearstream 4 max can receive signals from a maximum range of 70 miles. This was decent enough for me, considering that I live 50 miles from the nearest broadcast tower. The signals themselves were quite powerful and strong and did not once compromise on the channel’s quality that was being broadcasted. Long-range reception worked well for me to access free channels that were being broadcasted as well.

VHF / UHF Signals

Both of these devices can receive optimized VHF as well as UHF signals. The Winegard has a dual-band reception for clear signals, whereas the Clearstream utilizes multi-directional elements in accessing and delivering these signals to less ideal or desirable locations.

Features

Winegard Elite 7550

Multiple HD channels can be received by the Elite 7550, from ABC to Fox, to Univision, and more. Dual-band UHF and VHF reception allows for maximum and highest quality signals being received by this tv antenna. The device is durable enough to withstand exposure to multiple weather conditions such as fog and salt. I found it relatively easy to set up the antenna as well. There were numerous angling positions that I could choose from so that I could get the best signal reception possible.

A few other features of the Elite 7550 that people forget to mention, such as a wider beam for receiving a more considerable amount of channels or twin amp technology, which separates UHF from VHF, accounting for a better quality experience.

Clearstream 4 Max

1080 HD channels such as ABC, Fox, and CBS can be viewed through the Clearstream 4 Max. The antenna was relatively easy to set up through the ClearStream Eclipse Indoor Antenna feature. All I had to do was peel off the sticker and stick it to any smooth surface possible. The 4MAX tv antenna is suitable for both indoors, as well as outdoors. In fact, most people would recommend it for rural areas due to how powerful it is. The antenna point feature enabled me to view all the TV transmitting towers close to my area. It could also track my location and identify whether the tower I was interested in connecting to had signals powerful enough for my area

Winner: The Clearstream 4 Max, as it has better features.
