Coredy R650 vs Coredy R750 – Similarities

Before going to their differences, we should recognize first their similarities.

Design and Overall Size

The design and overall size are identical between the Coredy R650 and R750. As with all robotic vacuum cleaners out there, the R650 and R750 have a design resembling flat discs. Both vacuum cleaners have a diameter of almost 13 inches. The R650 and R750 are one of the slimmest robotic vacuum cleaners with their thickness of only 2.77 inches. With this thickness, these machines can clean even the hardest-to-reach places in your home. It can go under your furniture and bed.

Dust Box Capacity

The capacities of their dust box are also identical. The Coredy R650 and R750 have a dust box capacity of 500 mL that is enough for most medium-sized houses. Their three-brush configuration (one main roller with two side brushes) fills up this dust storage. Once filled up, you need to empty it manually.

Noise Level

Noise levels are important in any robotic vacuum cleaners (or home appliance in general). It affects your everyday life, especially your sleep. Fortunately, both the R650 and R750 are quiet operators. Both vacuum cleaners keep their noises under 65 dB. For a more understandable perspective, an average air conditioner produces around 60 dB of white noise. If you can sleep through your air conditioner running, and so do with these vacuum cleaners.

Coredy R650 vs Coredy R750 – Differences

Let’s see how these robotic vacuum cleaners differ.

Maximum Suction Power

The performance of any robotic vacuum cleaner mainly depends on its maximum suction power. More dirt and dust can be collected with a vacuum cleaner with higher suction power.

Coredy R650

The Coredy R650 has a lower maximum suction power of only 1600 Pa. Therefore, it is expected to perform worse than R750. However, having a suction power of 1600 Pa is, in fact, high for its price point. There are robotic vacuum cleaners at this price point that are only 1000 Pa. Moreover, the R650 has the Boost Intellect Technology which intuitively increases its suction power to the maximum when it detects a carpet.

Coredy R750

Coredy R750 has a higher maximum suction power of 2000 Pa. It can clean even the most stubborn dust and grime stuck on your floor regardless of what kind of material it is. Like the Coredy R650, it has the Boost Intellect Technology. Whether it is made out of tiles, wood, or carpet, the Coredy R750 will do an outstanding job.

Wet and Dry Mopping

Wet and dry mopping are godsent particularly to combat grimes on your floor. One of these robotic vacuum cleaners enjoys this feature that is only found on higher-end models.

Coredy R650

Unfortunately, the Coredy R650 does not have a wet and dry mopping feature. It is only a vacuum cleaner and nothing more. As a vacuum cleaner, it does a splendid job comparable to the R750.

Coredy R750

The Coredy R750 includes a water tank and cleaning mop cloth to mop floors. You can place water or other solutions for specific kinds of floor materials. The mop and vacuum functions are two separate operations, so you cannot do it at the same time. Although Coredy refers to it as the Intelligent Mopping System, the R750 are not intelligent enough to recognize wood from the carpet. Therefore, if you wet mop with the R750, there is a huge chance that it will leave you with a wet carpet. As a solution to this, Coredy added two 6.6ft virtual boundaries so that the R750 will not wet mop your carpets.

Wi-Fi and Alexa Compatibility

Wi-Fi and Alexa Compatibility are only found on much more expensive robotic vacuum cleaners. Let’s see which of them has these features.

Coredy R650

Again, this is a disadvantage for the Coredy R650 since it does not have any wireless connectivity. To interact with this robotic vacuum cleaner, you have to use the remote control that comes with it. There is no accompanying app you can use to control it since it does not have any wireless connectivity such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Coredy R750

The Coredy R750 bags another premium feature making it more enticing to buy. It can connect to your home network and can be controlled by your voice. Not only does it have compatibility with Alexa (Amazon Echo), but also you can use your Android’s Google Assistant to command it to clean your house. Since it has Wi-Fi connectivity, you can use it in conjunction with the Coredy Robot App for Apple or Coredy Robot App for Android phones. With this app, you can set its cleaning schedules. This is especially helpful when you don’t want it to run at nighttime.

The Winner Is Coredy R750

Battery Capacity

Since these vacuum cleaners are cordless, they need an internal battery to operate. The larger the battery capacity, the longer and wider the area it can clean.

Coredy R650

The Coredy R650 is carrying a smaller 2,600 mAh Li-Ion battery. This relatively large battery can last you up to 120 minutes or 2 hours! Whenever the battery goes low, it will automatically return to its charging base to recharge for its next round of vacuuming.

Coredy R750

Coredy gave the R750 around 20% more battery juice, totaling 3,200 mAh. However, this larger battery capacity will also yield you only 2 hours of runtime like the R650. There is nothing to be concerned about since the R750 needs all that battery to power its vacuum which is 2000 Pa. Moreover, it has a mopping function that can drain its battery when in use.
