The Final Verdict

First of all, we must say have amazing the roll-top door is. The design makes them both so easy to use. There is space on the countertop in front of the oven for your plate and all you need to do is slide the food out. It’s much safer and it was easier to check the food while we were cooking.

We liked the versatility of both of the ovens. We tried baking cakes and cookies with success. Our toast was nicely colored without being dry, and the broiled steak had just the right tender texture. The convection oven made is quick and easy to cook frozen foods and reheat leftovers.

The decision came down to the weight. Usually, a lighter appliance would be a benefit. In this case, considering how hot the oven got on the outside, we thought the extra weight added stability, and so the winner was the Hamilton Beach 31127.
