The Final Verdict
It was very difficult to make a decision today considering how similar they were. They are both powerful and work very well on all types of food. We noticed that after a while of juicing, if they started to struggle, we just removed the mesh and cleared any blockage away and we were off again. It is safe to say that both are a good buy for the price tag.
The thing we did notice was that they were quite loud. Not enough to annoy you but possibly enough to wake the baby. At the same time, they were no louder than other juicers on the market.
To decide on an overall winner, we went for the Hamilton Beach 67608. We liked the design; the stainless steel added a bit more style and broke up the color. It was a little bit lighter so getting it in and out of cupboards was easier. Really, this model comes with the juicer cup, and for the same price as the Hamilton Beach 67601, you may as well choose the option with the cup included.
