Despite the number of user manuals and user-friendly instructions provided in packages, devices that need to be assembled can be a bit of a nuisance, especially if they’re done by someone who has a hard time following and understanding instructions. However, the Vornado 733 and the Vornado 660 saved my time and energy as they came pre-assembled and ready to use.

This air circulator has dimensions of 16.2 x 14.2 x 15.2 inches. With a weight of 8.49 pounds, it is slightly more massive than the Vornado 660. The black finishing is matte and makes the fan look elegant in itself. I could switch between 3-speed settings according to my needs. The head of the Vornado 733 could also be tilted in any direction as required. 

Vornado 660

With dimensions of 11.75 x 13.5 x 15 inches and a weight of 7.32 pounds, the Vornado 660 is relatively light and portable, and easy to carry around. It has a black finishing, both glossy and matte, which gives off a classy look, and the fan comes with 4-speed push buttons that I could conveniently use according to my needs. The controls have been positioned at the top of the circulator and could easily be accessed. 

Winner: The Vornado 660 as it is lighter, compact, and more portable and also has an additional speed setting that we could use, making it more versatile and customizable.

Vornado 733

The Vornado 733 comes with a wide array of features. It has a fast speed of 1550 rpm, with a head that can easily be tilted and nested into position. It also comes with three airflow settings that account for improved ventilation inside of the room. This device comes with an inbuilt AirTensity Spiral Grill, creating spiral effects to instantly cool down the entire room, not just the direction it is blowing air in. Heavily contoured, deep pitch blades prove to be effective in moving as much air as possible. The Vornado 733 also comes with a high powered motor and an enclosed air duct which helps move air to and from hot and cold zones. Inlet air accelerators are also a great way of increasing airflow and improving ventilation. It can again move air up to 100 ft. 

Vornado 660 

The Vornado 660 comes with an inbuilt AirTensity Spiral Grill. This allows the electric fan to create spiral effects, which proves to be effective in cooling the entire room and providing excellent airflow. The deep pitch, heavily contoured blades move maximum possible air, which proves to be successful due to the high powered motors of this device.

An enclosed air duct present in the fan helps its power through hot and cold zones. Inlet air accelerators allow the blades of the fan to increase airflow smoothly and effectively. The Vornado 660 also moves air up to 100 ft. 

Winner: Tie. Both of these devices have unique features that are equally good. 

RPM Speed

RPM stands for revolutions per minute, and it’s used as a measure of how fast those fans operating at a given time. Meaning, higher RPM speed means better cooling and air circulation. Compared to the Vornado 660 which has RPM speed 1375 The Vornado 733 has 1500 RMP speed.

Value for Money

A 5 year warranty period is given for the Vornado 733 as well as the Vornado 660. However, the Vornado 660 has better features at a lower price and will provide you with a better value for money.

Which Vornado Fan is Better?

The Vornado 733 is a better air circulator fan than the Vornado 660. The difference in the higher RMP speed in favor of the Vornado 733 is obvious. It is also obvious in the difference in price between Vornado 733 and 660, the Vornado 660 is cheaper. Which air circulator fan to choose? If you want to save some dollars choose the Vornado 660, if you want to cool the room better, especially if it is a larger room choose the Vornado 733.
