Who doesn’t like to keep cool on a hot summer’s day? Most individuals would prefer an air conditioner on those sweltering, hot days of summer. However, many environmentally conscious users would like to ditch air conditioners due to their harmful effects in general. In such instances, an electric air fan would be a great alternative to get you through the heat that comes in summer. An air circulator, however, would be an even better option as it will cool down your room in all areas, instead of just focusing on the point that it is blowing air in.
Today we will compare two Vornado’s household fans: the Vornado 660 and the Vornado 723. The following comparison is based solely on our experience and will be an unbiased opinion regarding the features, benefits, and drawbacks of these two whole room air circulator fans. Vornado 660 vs Vornado 723
Assembly
Devices that need to be assembled and put together can be a nuisance, regardless of the user-friendly manuals provided with them. However, the Vornado 660 and the Vornado 723 come pre-assembled and ready to use, which saved both my time and efforts in assembling the devices.
Voltage
At a voltage of 120 V, which is the standard for most air circulator fans, these two devices are great for use without requiring a too-high power source to function.
Features
Although these are two completely different devices, their features are more or less the same. The Vornado 660 and the Vornado 723 come with an inbuilt AirTensity Spiral Grill. This allows the electric fans to create spiral effects, which proves to be effective in cooling the entire room and providing excellent airflow. The deep pitch, heavily contoured blades move maximum possible air, which proves to be successful due to the high powered motors of these two devices.
An enclosed air duct present in these two fans helps them power through hot and cold zones. Inlet air accelerators allow the blades of the fans to increase airflow smoothly and effectively.
