Filters
For a more even extraction, the Hamilton Beach 49465 and the Hamilton Beach 49467 have cone filters. They are compatible with paper and permanent filters. The machines require a size 4 cone filters.
Programming Options
The digital clocks on the Hamilton Beach 49465 and the Hamilton Beach 49467 allow you to set the brewing start time for up to 24 hours in advance. You can have freshly brewed coffee ready for when you wake up or even when you get home from work.
Auto Shutoff
The hot plate will stay on for 2 hours and then automatically turn off, you don’t need to worry about leaving the Hamilton Beach 49465 and the Hamilton Beach 49467 on when you go out. If you want to keep the coffee hotter for longer, you can just set the time for another two hours. The hot plates are non-stick. For easy cleanup, you can just wipe the hotplates clean.
Auto Pause
If you don’t want to wait for the brewing cycle to finish, the Hamilton Beach 49465 and the Hamilton Beach 49467 both have auto-pause features. When you remove the carfare, the coffee makers will pause (without dripping) so that you can pour yourself a cup of coffee and replace it to finish the process.

Hamilton Beach has kept the two coffee makers very simple to use and minimal control buttons.
Hamilton Beach 49465
It has a stainless-steel control panel There are 5 buttons; an on/off button, a program button, and an auto button. The auto and on/off button have indicator lights. There are also hour and minute buttons to set the timers.
Hamilton Beach 49467
There are two buttons on each side of the digital clock. The hour and minute buttons are on the left and the on/off and program buttons are on the right. The on/off and program buttons have light indicators.

Pros and Cons
Because the Hamilton Beach 49465 and the Hamilton Beach 49467 are so similar, the decision might be down to the pros and cons.
Hamilton Beach 49465
Pros:

The Final Verdict
If we were basing our decision on design, we would have to say that we preferred the Hamilton Beach 49467 for the shape of the coffee maker and the matching silver rims around the base of the carafe and above it. We also liked that it was not as wide and fit better on the countertop. On the other hand, we preferred the stainless-steel control panel of the Hamilton Beach 49465.
When it came to the coffee, there was very little difference. Both made coffee to the right strength and we were happy with how hot the coffee stayed. The coffee machines were easier to use and to keep clean.
The price of both was really good and for the quality of the machines and the coffee that they produce, we were very impressed. Neither of the machines has bells and whistles but they both produce great results. Although the Hamilton Beach 49467 was a little more expensive, we decided that it was the better machine. It was mess free with a fine flavor, temperature, and capacity.
