This is an 8-in-1 pressure cooker. The functions include pressure, steam, slow cook, sear/sauté, and keep warm. There are three additional TenderCrisp options which are air crisp, bake/roast, and broil.

Ninja Foodi OP302

This is a 9-in-1 pressure cooker. As well as the above functions, you will be able to set the machine to dehydrate. Also, the slow cook function is labeled as slow cook/yogurt, rather than just slow cook.

Value for Money

If you look at name brands, Ninja Foodi is one of the most reputable brands for all-in-one pressure cookers. Its products start at around $130 and can go up to approximately $250.

We thought the price was great, at a little over the lower end of Ninja Foodi’s price range.

Ninja Foodi OP302

Still not one of the more expensive models, but it costs about $45 more than the Ninja Foodi OP301.

Pros and Cons

It is still quite a close call, so we have included some pros and cons to help with the final decision.

 

Ninja Foodi OP301

Pros:

  • It’s the logical next step if you love cooking with different machines
  • It works really well cooking frozen food
  • It is also good for rice and pasta dishes

Cons:

  • There have been a few issues with quality control

Ninja Foodi OP302

Pros:

  • Makes amazing beef jerky with the dehydrate function
  • It’s really easy to clean with warm soapy water
  • Good capacity for the whole family

Cons:

  • It took a while to get up to the right temperature

The Final Verdict

Hands down, these are both great machines to have in the kitchen, especially if you are looking to save money when you need to replace a couple of others. They are quite big so you will need a decent amount of kitchen space but once they are there, they look fantastic.

We felt that today’s winner was the Ninja Foodi OP301. Nobody wants to spend more money than they have to and really, aside from the dehydrate function, the two have the same cooking functions and abilities. We were very impressed with the results of the Ninja Foodi OP301 and the value for money.
