Both the tools are battery operated with 2AA batteries which are great because you can escape the hassle of cords and it makes them portable too. None of these devices have the battery included in their package.
Material and sound
The devices are made out of stainless steel material and are ultra-quiet when it comes to the actual frothing process. These milk frothers also have a metal stand included in the package.
Noise
Both the frothers are very quiet while working. They make just enough noise to let the user know they’re on, but if a person were standing a little away in the same kitchen, the person wouldn’t be able to hear them. That is an amazing quality considering they don’t heat up either.

It has a button on its top that can be easily pressed to carry out the frothing procedure while holding the device. The handle of this device has a more silicone feel and gave me a stronger grip when it came to whipping and frothing up the milk. This milk frother is currently available in 23 different colors.
PowerLix Milk Frother
This nifty device has dimensions of 9.9 x 3 x 2.8 inches and is also portable and easy to use at a weight of 5.6 ounces. The button at the top needs to be pressed throughout the whisking process, and the feel of the device itself is quite soft. I also found the PowerLix Milk Frother to be slightly heavier than the Zulay Original Milk Frother. There are 13 different colours this device is available in.
Winner: Zulay takes the lead, as it is lighter and gives you a better grip.
Speed
Zulay Original Milk Frother
This frother is extremely quiet when working, and does not heat up either. At a speed of 13,500 rpm, this frother is an excellent device for whipping up milk, as well as whisking eggs. For a coffee lover like myself, you can easily foam up your milk in 20 seconds or so.
PowerLix Milk Frother
The PowerLix frother has an extremely high speed of 19,000 rpm, and can easily whip up your milk in a maximum of 15 seconds. The quality of the frother is excellent and doesn’t unnecessarily heat up your milk.
Winner: The PowerLix Milk Frother, as it has a higher speed.
Value for Money
Both of these products came with a lifetime assurance, however, the PowerLix Milk frother is cheaper and will give you a better value for money, given its features.

Which Milk Frother is better?
These frothers have almost similar qualities and drawbacks. Both come with a metal stand, but both of these devices missed out on included battery points and neither of them was waterproof. However, I would recommend the PowerLix milk frother as it has a higher speed, and does not lose its speed over time. It was also quite fast and versatile and could be used for multiple other purposes.
