Keurig K-Mini Plus vs CHULUX Single-Serve – Differences
Maximum Cup Height
The Keurig will work with containers as tall as 7 inches, the CHULUX is limited to 5.3 inches.
Water Reservoir
The K-mini, the water reservoir is removable, the CHULUX’s is built in.
Ease of Cleaning
The CHULUX is a bit easier to clean given the simplicity of its design.
Storage of K-Pods
The Keurig has in unit storage of up to 9 K-Pods, while the CHULUX lacks this feature.
Shape and Design
The Keurig’s silhouette is tall, narrow, and handsome: quite European in look and feel. The removable drip tray allows travel-style mugs up to 7 inches tall to be used. The tray also contains a full “accidental brew” which avoids a big mess in your kitchen. There is a space to tuck away the electric cord neatly. Finally, there is a button to make your coffee stronger.
The Chulux design is simpler: it does not have in unit storage for K-Pods, nor does it have a place to tuck away the electric cord. Varying the strength of your coffee requires putting in more or. less water, the process is not “push button” like the Keurig. Although it is a matter of taste, the Chulux is not as sleek and modern looking as the Keurig.
The Winner Is: Keurig K-Mini Plus

This premium may be worth paying if you value the prestige that accompanies the brand. If you care about what your guests think, then this premium may be worth paying.
The CHULUX Single-Serve has an 800W heating element and does the same thing as the Keurig, it just takes about 20 seconds longer to do it.
The Winner is: CHULUX
Pros and Cons

- Takes less time to brew
Cons:
- Price is higher as compared to other models with the same features
- Size is not ideal for traveling
Final Verdict
Both of these coffee makers are highly functional and produce a nice cup of freshly brewed “Joe”. The Keurig K-Mini Plus Coffee Maker is a bit faster and is perceived as more stylish or “upscale”, but this comes at a price. The CHULUX Single-Serve offers good quality, has the same features, and makes a cup of coffee as well as the Keurig. Consumers like both of them, so you really can’t go wrong. If you are tight on budget or simply demand the most for your money then the CHULUX Single-Serve is a better choice.
